Humor & Satire: Anonymous.

Le Centre de l’Amour, Decouvert soubs Divers Emblesmes Galans et Facetieux. A Paris, Chez Cupidon, [1680]. A series of satirical engravings and poems.

The Character of a Town-Miss. London: Rowland Reynolds, 1680. —The life of a well-paid London whore, in eight pages. It is a curious edition: clearly a nineteenth-century reprint, in nineteenth-century type, but there is no other indication that it is a reprint. The text fills eight pages of an eighty-page book; the rest of the pages are blank. This is not an error in scanning: the detailed scans show the different blotches and blemishes on the old sheets, proving that they are indeed different blank pages.

The Character of a Town-Gallant; exposing the extravagant fopperies of fome vain self-conceited pretenders to gentility and good breeding. London: Printed for W. L., 1675. —Another modern edition, perhaps late nineteenth or early twentieth century, but with no indication that it is a reprint.
