AN ECLECTIC LIBRARY.

The Oriental Translation Fund

of the Royal Asiatic Society.

☛The Oriental Translation Fund of the Royal Asiatic Society has sponsored an immense treasury of English (and sometimes French) translations from Asian and Middle Eastern texts. In many cases, these are almost certainly the only translations that exist in English. Since the Fund had been funding for nearly two centuries, many of its projects are in the public domain.

We have established separate pages for the various languages from which these works are translated, which seems like the most reasonable first-level organization. Many of the works will also be found on other pages in the Library where they are relevant.
